We hope you're enjoying the summer. Despite the lazy weather, we've been very active in preparing our autumn programme, with the first two events (18 September, Birmingham and Leeds) ready and open for registration. For details, see the sidebar or the announcements in this issue.

Also taking place that week is TravelWise Week 2018, being held from 16-22 September in line with the dates of European Mobility Week. The campaign is also covered in this issue and there are lots of ways to get involved. Consider it as an opportunity to showcase your full range of sustainable transport/travel initiatives to the public and to your employees/visitors.

We've also announced the theme of our Annual Conference (31 January 2019, Birmingham). This issue includes our theme description within our Call for Papers. Sponsors and exhibitors are also sought.

The sidebar includes job opportunities with two of our members.

Our Member Login Area on Acttravelwise.org is now populated with scores of guidance documents, conference presentations and other resources made available exclusively to members. If you're not already an Act TravelWise member, it's easy to join and you can do this by completing our Membership Form found on the website. Among other benefits, membership gives you a free place at all of our events throughout the year. You also get discounts on registration at our partners' events.

We encourage you to send in your news, job postings and event listings for future issues of the monthly e-bulletin. Just email them by the end of the month. This is a free service for members (£100 per item for non-members), reaching nearly 5,000 transport professionals. Also anyone may submit email addresses for adding to our e-bulletin distribution list here.
