Upcoming Events

As we all emerge from our Easter staycations into work from home mode, we hope all of you are staying safe and where possible, giving back to your local communities.

In the stay at home spirit, we've followed up on our first webinar (held 2 April, featured in this e-bulletin including webinar organising tips) with three more free webinars:

• Earth Day Webinar: Decarbonising Transport, with Dr Bob Moran of the DfT, Stephen Joseph OBE, Dr Rachel Aldred, Roger Geffen MBE, Jenni Wiggle and Prof Glenn Lyons, with a discussion panel format, Wednesday 22 April, 2 pm
COVID-19 Webinar: Impacts on Transport and Working Habits, with Chloe Williams, Travel Demand Manager at Transport for West Midlands and others to be announced, Monday 11 May, 2 pm
COVID-19 Webinar: Impacts on Transport Emissions and Air Quality, with David Carslaw, Air Quality Knowledge Leader, Ricardo and others to be announced, Thursday 18 June (formerly Clean Air Day), 2 pm

Places are filling up quickly (capped at 100), but if they're sold out, join the waiting list and you'll still be sent the recording and presentation PDFs afterwards.

The webinars are not funded or sponsored, so if you're not already a member, we would really appreciate your support. We're offering a half price first year membership for local authorities as part of our 2020 membership drive. That's just £187.50! It's easy to join and you can do this by completing our Membership Form.

Other plans are afoot! If you have ideas for webinars or wish to lead one yourself, or if your company would like to sponsor one or more webinars or e-bulletins, please do get in touch. Thank you for reading!
