TPM is an annual meeting place for all transport planners, highway engineers and urban transport designers to share knowledge, engage in constructive debates, and disseminate the latest thinking across the profession. The deadline for submitting an abstract is noon on Thursday 19 January 2017.
PlusBike, an initiative of the Rail Delivery Group (formerly ATOC) is running a survey through 20 November to understand how best to provide you with helpful information when you’re planning a rail journey with a cycle. The survey will take between 5-10 minutes to complete. Now in their twelfth year, the 2016 Cycle-Rail Awards recognise progress made by the rail industry and associated organisations towards encouraging integrated cycle-rail travel. The 2016 National Cycle-Rail Awards programme is open for entries and nominations, closing on Friday 9 September 2016 at 5 pm.
The Rail Delivery Group is shortly to publish an updated version of the Cycle-Rail Toolkit. Train operators and Network Rail are delivering cycle improvements across the network, and this toolkit will help ensure that high-quality infrastructure is in place to support the anticipated increase in cycle-rail journeys.
