On Saturday 18 August 2018, Liftshare celebrated its second decade as a business as we turned 20 years old! It all began when, as a student, Liftshare CEO Ali Clabburn needed a low-cost way to get home to Norfolk from University of Bristol for Christmas. He posted a request for a lift back to Norfolk on the student notice board, and the next day he had three lift offers! In 1998, Liftshare was born!

The statement comes as the Urban Transport Group unveils its new ‘Health and Wellbeing Hub’. The hub provides a digital, one stop shop, which brings together a wide range of resources that health and transport professionals need to understand one another, and to work more effectively together.
