Concessions

ACT TravelWise has now introduced concession membership which includes membership for Students, Unemployed and Retired/ 65+.

Concession membership is £40.00 plus VAT and includes full access to the ACT TravelWise website as well as use of the website forum.

Students:

Students can receive concessions whilst at university (Inc. Masters and PhD) and for the first year of becoming a graduate.

Students must provide the following:

• a photocopy of their current student ID card
• a course acceptance letter for the current academic year from their university
• provide the start dates and end dates of their course

Unemployed:

To be entitled for unemployment concessions you must be out of employment for at least one month.

 Unemployed must provide one of the following:

• a photocopy of a current Job seekers letter if receiving unemployment benefit
• In not on unemployment benefits, must provide a photocopy of their latest P45

Retired/ 65+:

Retired AND over 65 must provide the following:

• Photocopy of a current passport showing your date of birth
• A photocopy of your birth certificate
• A photocopy of your driving licence showing date your of birth

Retired must provide the following:

• A retirement acceptance letter from your current/ recent employer

People under the age of 65 and who have retired can still apply for retirement concessions but they must provide substantial evidence for their retirement.
