Smarter Choices Officers 3 posts

Kirkintilloch/Lenzie is one of seven towns selected by the Scottish Government for the Smarter Choices, Smarter Places initiative. Three posts have been created to deliver the smarter choices programme, which involves behaviour change, travel planning and infrastructure improvements. We need someone who can sell smarter choices to the local community and someone who can design. This post may be suitable for a recent graduate.
We are looking for motivated people able to develop and deliver the smarter choices programme and communicate this to the local community, project partners and Council.
While a background in transportation is preferable, exceptional candidates without this background but with the correct blend of ability, enthusiasm and knowledge of transport issues, will be considered. In particular excellent communication, time management and report writing skills are essential. You must also be fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
