Assistant Travel Plan Officer

Salary: £20,595 - £24,528 (Linked Grade Scale 5-6 Pay Award Pending)
The demand for transport continues to increase, especially in areas with a growing population or industrial activity. A significant percentage of travel demand is generated by the daily commute, and employers have a key role to play.
SWELTRAC team have an exciting opportunity to help promoting sustainable transport, particularly Workplace Travel Plans and providing people with a greater choice of travel alternatives.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident and imaginative individual with the necessary communication skills to persuade businesses to adopt Travel Plans voluntarily. Competing with the other pressures on businesses, you will need to be able to present the benefits of Travel Plans professionally and concisely to busy managers. As a post with little routine, applicants should be adaptable and able to capitalise on opportunities as they arise.
