The Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) at University of Leeds will be hosting the Act TravelWise Yorkshire & The Humber regional meeting on Tuesday 3 December, 2:30 - 3:45 pm in Room 1.11. Following the meeting, an ITS seminar scheduled from 4:00 to 5:00 pm by Professor Greg Marsden on 'Shared Mobility: Where Now? Where Next?' is now unfortunately cancelled due to UCU strike action.
The regional meeting will be an opportunity to hear from members throughout the region on their current activities and how the Act TravelWise regional activity can be boosted with a new team of Regional Representatives.
The meeting will feature three presentations:
• Highlights of the New University of Leeds Travel Plan (Claire Booth, Sustainability Project Officer, University of Leeds)
• Transforming Walking, Cycling and Bus Infrastructure in Leeds City Centre (David Ellis, Senior Transport Planner, WSP)
• An Introduction to the West Yorkshire Travel Plan Network (Marilyn Healy and Nicola Whatmuff, Business Travel Advisors, West Yorkshire Combined Authority)
