The Electric Vehicle Summit, keynoted by Baroness Kramer, provides a platform for knowledge sharing between the automotive sector, government and academia to share information about the development of the EV sector.
Surrey is a cluster of expertise in the sector, with many of the leading automotive and Formula companies placing their R&D centres in the County. Surrey University which hosts the event is one of the leading academic centres for EV, with its Formula Centre providing cutting-edge research and development for the motor racing sector.
Delegates will have the opportunity to visit this centre and see the latest EV cars and bikes from companies including BMW, Toyota, Renault and Nissan.
The day will include keynote presentations, study tours, and roundtable discussions led by organisations including Surrey University, SMMT, OLEV and Carplus.
The event will take place on 16 September at Surrey University in Guildford.
