Carplus AGM and CTA Westminster Conference - 22 November 2016

This year, the Carplus AGM will be held on 22 November in London alongside the Community Transport Association’s Westminster Conference. The AGM is free of charge to Carplus members and all are welcome. If you would also like to attend the CTA Westminster Conference, the Community Transport Association is kindly offering discounted rates to Carplus members.

As the national membership body for the UK’s community transport sector, the Community Transport Association is for, and about, accessible and inclusive transport, working for a world where people can shape and create their own accessible and inclusive transport solutions from the ground up.

The conference, which is taking place at the beautiful home of the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street in Westminster, promises to be a collaborative and engaging event with an exciting networking and exhibition space.

Representatives from across the transport network, the third sector as well as national and local government will gather to discuss how we can make transport accessible and inclusive for all. The event’s keynote speaker will be Andrew Jones MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport.

The day will include sessions on how to build partnerships across the transport sector; a policy update from the Department for Transport; and discussion on innovative transport solutions that are pushing boundaries to improve mobility.
