On 27 April in Horsham, Andy Winmill and Charlotte Collins of WSP will lead a workshop on delivering area-based travel plans led by local authorities. The workshop will examine innovative approaches to creating a blueprint for investment, securing funding through the planning process, guidance for developers, and insight in developing on-going quality and consistency in delivery. The workshop will cover real-world examples of these approaches to travel planning being applied by local authorities and factors that will underpin wider adoption.
Act TravelWise members receive one free delegate place. Non-members and additional delegates are charged at £50 + VAT.
The workshop will take place in Horsham hosted by West Sussex County Council. It will run from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. An Act TravelWise regional meeting for the South East region will take place in the same venue from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (separate registration). The regional meeting will include a presentation from Mott MacDonald on area travel planning in Australia.
