The Certificate in Travel Planning at UCLan is designed to contribute to the needs of the public and private sector to develop travel planning through the availability of well trained and well qualified staff. The qualification aims to meet the needs of the industry and at the same time meet the rigorous requirements of a University qualification. To reflect this duality, the teaching team includes Professor John Whitelegg a leading international consultant from the travel planning industry, supplemented by academic expertise from Professor Les Lumsdon and Dr Jo Guiver from the University’s Institute of Travel and Tourism.
