The next round of Local Transport Plans (LTPs) for local authorities outside London is due to come into operation in 2011. Draft guidance from the Department for Transport has advised that in developing and implementing LTPs, local authorities should consult stakeholders and the public at various stages, using both established and more innovative ways. They should consult on both the LTP strategies and implementation plans. This seminar will inform participants of the range of consultation methods that they could use in developing their LTPs.
