TravelWise Green Travel Week 2009

This year we are working with the Europen Mobility Week to encourage members to run sustainable transport promotions between the 16th September to 22nd of September.

This year's theme is Improving City Climates, and there can be few better methods of improving the local environment than reducing the numbers of cars on the roads by having a travel plan.

Any activity which encourages your staff to travel fewer miles by car would qualify, from a workplace challenge to walk or cycle the furthest, active travel breakfasts for walkers or cyclists, to prize draws for car sharers.

We invite members to let us know if you are planning an event, or if you need some support or ideas.

One of this year's awards will be for the best TravelWise Green Travel Week awards.
