Introduction to the Yorkshire & Humber Region
The Yorkshire and Humber region offers a diverse set of experience in developing TravelWise and sustainable transport initiatives. The region has been active in European projects and has several successful case studies of the introduction of innovative measures such as guided bus, public transport interchange, cycling infrastructure, sustainable development through the planning process and behaviour change programmes.
The developing regional group will embrace issues across the public, business and consultancy sectors.

We are currently negotiating a number of joint events with the Transport Planning Society and the Institute of Highways and Transportation in the Yorkshire and Humber Region. Please contact the Regional Representatives for more information or if you have suggestions for event topics.
