Tees Valley

Travel Planning across the Tees Valley Authorities is going to become even better following the formation of the Tees Valley Travel Plan Officers Working Group.  All five authorities will be represented on the group as will key employers such as PCTs, universities, call centres and colleges.  One of the key aims of the group is to showcase best practice around the Tees Valley.  It is also intended to establish a Working Group to possibly lobby any local issues that may arise.  See the Events Section above for meeting dates. 

Cobalt Business Park

Travel by bus has just got even easier at the UK's largest business park in North Tyneside.  The recently introduced Cobalt Free Zone allows bus passengers who have registered for a Free Zone Pass to travel with a number operators within the park at no extra cost.  The scheme is hoped to make travel by public transport an even more atractive alternative than using the car.  For further infomation contact Amy or Lynn at the Cobalt Travel Centre on 0191 257 6457.
